Job Description Summary Job Description Job Responsibilities • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, piping systems, and other mechanical components • Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, vibration, leaks, and other mechanical issues • Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical parts and assemblies • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, manuals, and work orders • Use precision measuring instruments and maintenance tools to complete repairs accurately • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities • Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, and work order documentation • Follow all plant safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues • Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and continuous improvement Required Qualifications • Diploma Mechanical /Mechatronics • Technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational certification in mechanical maintenance or related field preferred • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, plant, or facility maintenance • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and mechanical systems • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely • Basic computer skills for work orders and maintenance systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications • 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems • Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus • Experience with alignment, bearings, seals, and rotating equipment Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift materials or tools as needed • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation • Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, heat, dust, and moving equipment • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required Work Schedule • Hourly, non-exempt position • May require overtime, weekends, holidays, or call-in support based on operational needs Key Competencies • Mechanical aptitude • Troubleshooting and problem-solving • Attention to detail • Safety focus • Teamwork and communication • Reliability and accountability Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
