Build reliable finance products Work with a small product team, building and testing prototypes with customers in their real finance workflows. Identify patterns that can help other customers and partner with engineering, design and product teams to turn those patterns and lessons into reusable capabilities. Review AI-generated spreadsheets and artefacts for financial correctness, sound assumptions and usability. Turn your judgment into reference examples, test cases and scoring criteria, and build reusable AI workflows that account for realistic data, exceptions and financial controls. Own finance-specific quality criteria and drive alignment with customers and product teams. Check that automated tests agree with expert review and catch material errors. Define the evidence and human checks needed, and sign off on finance readiness for customer validation. Use customer feedback and test results to define clear product requirements and improve product quality. Measure and drive progress against agreed baselines, including accuracy, review effort and time saved. Build and curate a practical Finance learning path using real-world workflows and hands-on examples to help product managers, engineers, and designers apply financial judgment to the products they build. Help build a network of practicing finance experts to validate priority workflows, review evaluation criteria and provide feedback on prototypes, drawing on deeper specialization when needed. Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. Hands-on experience building and reviewing financial models or owning and improving recurring finance processes — Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), accounting, tax, corporate finance or finance technology. Experience with Excel and modeling skills, with an understanding of how source data becomes models, reports, insights and decisions. Sound judgment to spot material errors, challenge assumptions and assess whether an AI-generated output is fit for its intended business use. Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts and financial reasoning to others. Curiosity about AI tools and methods, and the willingness to learn them quickly. Experience automating recurring finance workflows using Excel macros, VBA, Office Scripts or similar tools. Experience taking an open-ended problem through to a practical solution and improving it through feedback. Experience working across teams to understand stakeholder needs, prioritize improvements, and deliver measurable results in finance workflows.
