We are currently seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Coordinator Technician to join our team at Coastal State Prison, located in Port Wentworth, GA Pay Scale: $19-$23 Per Hour  The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department. Qualifications: Essential Duties: •    Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system •    Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy •    Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing •    Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist •    High school diploma or GED equivalent required  •    Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required •    Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred  •    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Shift: Day Shift We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more... indmhm
