Day in the Life
Most shifts are spent at the Sports Discovery Center welcoming guests, answering questions, and keeping check-ins moving smoothly. As the on-shift supervisor supporting a seasonal team, you’ll stay hands-on with the point of sale (tickets, retail, concessions/coffee), step in to resolve guest issues with a calm, solution-focused approach, and coordinate quick updates with other teams when plans change. You’ll also help keep the desk organized and close out the day accurately, so everything is set up for the next shift.
About You at Soldier Hollow
You’ll thrive here if you bring Collaboration and Excellence to a fast-moving, guest-first environment. Collaboration looks like stepping in when the line gets long, communicating clearly with other departments, and helping seasonal teammates learn the flow without making it complicated. Excellence shows up in the details: accurate transactions, clean processes, waivers completed, deposits and reports done right the first time, and guests who feel genuinely welcomed even on the busiest winter days. Success means the desk runs smoothly, guests leave with solutions (not frustration), and your team feels supported and ready.
