Compensation based upon experience! Excellent Benefits Listed Below! Lead with Purpose. Lead with Heart: Aberdeen Ridge is seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead a vibrant community where Independent Living residents are informed, connected, and meaningfully engaged—and where TEAM members feel valued, supported, and engaged in their work. Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America isn’t just a workplace; we are a faith-based, not-for-profit organization rooted in a rich heritage of service. When you join us, you aren’t starting from scratch—you are leading an exceptionally talented TEAM dedicated to a resident-first philosophy. Experience the stability and heart of a not-for-profit culture focused on the PMMA mission and the people we serve. If you want to lead a community that feels like home, we want to meet you. As Executive Director, you will serve as the visible leader and chief culture champion for Aberdeen Ridge. A primary focus of this role is cultivating a highly engaged Independent Living community in which residents have a meaningful voice, feel connected to one another, and are confident in the direction of the community. You will build trusted relationships by listening actively, maintaining a consistent presence, inviting resident input, and creating opportunities for participation, connection, and shared ownership of community life. Independent Living residents expect strong leadership and a high level of transparent communication. The Executive Director will communicate decisions, priorities, changes, and progress in a timely, clear, candid, and consistent manner; explain the reasons behind decisions when appropriate; address questions directly; and demonstrate reliable follow-through on commitments. This leader will establish dependable communication channels and foster trust, even when navigating complex issues or change. Equally important, you will build a workplace culture where TEAM members feel respected, valued, heard, and connected to the mission. Through open two-way communication, recognition, collaboration, accountability, coaching, and leadership development, you will strengthen engagement and empower TEAM members to contribute their best work. You will model the behaviors expected throughout the organization and connect TEAM member engagement directly to an exceptional resident experience. In addition, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-tier regulatory compliance in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community, and lead the TEAM in providing the highest quality of life for residents. Ready to lead? Don’t just find a job—find your calling with a seasoned TEAM and a mission that inspires. We are seeking a confident, approachable leader who listens well, communicates with transparency, is visible and accessible throughout the community, follows through on commitments, and brings residents and TEAM members together around a shared vision for community life.
