• Manage a substantial caseload of high-exposure matters brought against the Company, balancing litigation demands, business priorities, and risk considerations with sound judgment and efficiency.
• Lead all phases of discovery in complex, high-exposure matters, including identifying and analyzing critical documents, taking and defending depositions, conducting site inspections, and shaping the evidentiary record for trial.
• Represent the Company in hearings, mediations, and trials involving significant complexity, exposure, and business impact, serving as a trusted advocate in high-stakes disputes.
• Deliver sophisticated legal research, analysis, and strategic guidance on complex litigation issues, partnering with Law Department colleagues to develop positions that protect the Companys interests.
• Draft and refine high-impact pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery demands and responses that advance litigation strategy and position matters for successful outcomes.
• Prepare and argue substantive motions, appear at court conferences, and confidently advocate for the Company in forums where strategic judgment and courtroom presence are essential.
• Provide strategic legal support across a broad range of issues connected to Company operations, contributing as a valued member of a high-performing in-house legal team.
• Mentor and develop junior attorneys by providing hands-on guidance in case assessment, litigation planning, and trial strategy, helping build a high-performing team equipped to manage complex tort and premises liability matters.
• Deliver polished, executive-ready presentations and strategic updates to senior leadership on high-exposure litigation matters, translating complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance that informs business decisions.
