The Supervisor, Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, leading janitorial staff, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position provides hands-on leadership, conducts inspections, coordinates staffing, and ensures all work is performed safely and in accordance with company and client expectations. Pay: $26.00-$28.00/hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits: Staff & Mgmt • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of janitorial team members. • Schedule, assign, and monitor work to ensure efficient operations. • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to verify quality standards and client requirements are met. • Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, safety practices, and company policies. • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary. • Ensure adequate staffing coverage and assist with scheduling and timekeeping. • Respond promptly to client concerns and service requests. • Monitor inventory levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. • Enforce safety regulations and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Complete operational reports, inspections, and documentation accurately and timely. • High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities management, housekeeping, or related services. • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. • Experience managing employee schedules and labor productivity. • Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and industry best practices. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
