What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for monitoring and directing students in the driver’s education program, in compliance with government and management directives. Essential functions: • Demonstrates and explains handling of automobiles in emergencies, driving techniques, and mechanical operation of automobiles. • Process students’ driver’s education applications • Prepare students for written examinations through lectures, worksheets, and discussions. • Evaluate students’ performance. • Determine the students’ readiness to complete the written and driving tests. • Maintain student accountability by documenting class attendance reports. Education and Experience Requirements: • Minimum one year experience in teaching driver’s education required. • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required. • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
