Job Details: Job Location: 100 LEGENDS BAY DRIVE - SPARKS, NV, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Swing, Job Category: Restaurant - Food Service, Job Description:  The Fine Dining Host/Hostess is responsible for providing exceptional service at Dukes Steakhouse, ensuring a welcoming and professional dining environment that enhances the guest experience and fosters customer loyalty. Job Requirements:  Provide friendly, responsive, and professional guest service at all times. Build positive rapport with guests while escorting them to their tables. Accommodate guest seating requests whenever possible. Manage seating rotations to ensure balanced service across all sections. Promote and highlight current wine specials and promotions. Communicate guest needs and special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries, to leadership. Relay guest compliments, concerns, and feedback to management promptly. Monitor the flow of business and adjust seating and staffing support as needed. Take guest reservations and maintain accurate reservation records in accordance with established procedures. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:   Education and Experience: Highschool diploma/GED. Previous fine dining experience preferred. Additional Requirements: Must comply with all health codes and regulations. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Knowledge of casino environment. Thorough knowledge of wine preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
