Export Control/Compliance Officer (ITAR/EAR) Job Summary MTU Maintenance Fort Worth Inc. is looking for an Export Compliance Specialist. This role serves as the process owner for export and trade compliance, ensuring the effective execution, governance, and continuous enhancement of compliance processes and controls supporting current and future contracts. Responsibilities include oversight of controlled goods, export licensing requirements for material and data movements during operational and bid phases, and compliance with applicable U.S. and EU regulations, including sanctions, ITAR, EAR, and CCL requirements. Duties: • Set up and adaptation of current compliance process to ensure compliance with U.S. and EU Export Regulations • Analysis of changes of compliance requirements and initiation of required process changes • Ensures compliance with the U.S. export laws and regulations and all export approvals for MTU Maintenance Fort Worth organization • Ensure support of export control policies and procedures business-wide through training programs • Implements corrective actions related to IT resulting from audits or customer requests to ensure export compliance • Continuous review of licensing requirements for daily business • Integration/alignment within the MTU Global Export network and Liaison with US and EU export specialist • Collaborate with customs functions and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain an effective customs compliance framework, support trade optimization initiatives, and ensure compliance with applicable customs laws, regulations, and business requirements. • Lead internal audits, internal investigations, corrective actions, communications, training, and implementation of export policies and procedure Skills: • College degree and experience with export compliance • Knowledge of Department of State, ITAR and Department of Commerce, EAR required • 3-5 years direct experience in Export Compliance role • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel and Word • Experience in SAP GTS • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills • Proactive, well-organized, highly motivated for high performance levels working independently. • Identifying, resolving, potential problems in a timely manner while working in a fast paced environment We offer • Medical, Dental, Vision, and STD insurance are effective immediately • Medical Flexible Spending Accounts • Employer-paid LTD and Life / AD&D insurance • 401k with employer matching up to 2% with an additional discretionary contribution to 1% provided from the employer • Paid 2 weeks of Vacation, paid 10 days of PTO & Holidays • Annual Tuition Reimbursement • Monthly $30 Gym Membership Reimbursement Your Future at MTU Starts Here!
