Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (approx. 8a - 5p) Job Responsibilities • Individual diagnostic evaluation and sign-out of genitourinary specimens • Assure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety guidelines/standards • Accurate and timely evaluation of specimens tested • Assures good laboratory practice (GLP) and compliance with applicable accrediting and regulatory agencies • Provide expert consultation as needed with clients and staff, in person, by phone or electronically Minimum Qualifications • Medical Degree from an accredited college/university • Oklahoma Licensed Physician with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology or eligible • Eligible to obtain additional state medical licenses Preferred Qualifications • Subspecialty training in Surgical Pathology • Subspecialty training in Genitourinary Pathology Additional Job Standards • Experience in high volume hospital / large referral laboratory experience • Organized and efficient problem solving and excellent communication skills are required, both written and verbal At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
