• Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education. • Backgrounds in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace or Structural Engineering desired. • Prior management experience leading a team in an engineering or manufacturing setting desired. • Experience and knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings with emphasis on composite lamination and airframe integration. • Experience with LEAN manufacturing methodologies desired. • Working knowledge of GD&T ANSI Y-14.5M. • Experience using CREO Parametric or similar CAD software. • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired. • Basic project management knowledge • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
