In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions Advanced Compact EW Solutions(ACES), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. ACES is developing the next generation of expendable countermeasures and dispenser solutions leveraging our 40-year history in these technologies. Building on foundational programs such as ALE-55 and ALE-47, we are positioned well for continued growth. As the ACES Operations Director, you will be part of the ACES product line and responsible for supporting and leading a program portfolio that covers all aspects of the Life Cycle as an Operations Director. You will have delegation authority from the ACES Operations Product Line Director and be responsible for the program performance of the production programs within the portfolio. You will also be a solid business partner and board member of the Development Portfolio teams. • Manage and develop a diverse team of Operations professionals. • Drive Operations performance against baseline program plans by monitoring quality, schedule, and cost performance across all Operations functions. • Analyze Operations data and present clear, concise insights to Operations, Program, and Engineering Management. • Generate Operational plans (e.g., Manufacturing, Sales) and schedules based on departmental standards to provide strategic direction to functional departments. • Lead and participate in project/team meetings to provide clear direction to various functional areas. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes that improve efficiency, reduce defects, and lower costs. • Apply Affordability and Continuous Improvement tools, overseeing Transition To Production, Design To Unit Price Cost Burndown plans, and Producibility indices. • Collaborate with Supply Chain planning and execution for Development, Production, and Sustainment programs. • Engage and communicate effectively across all organizational levels, from touch personnel and support functions to the Business Area Senior Leadership Team. • Manage cost tracking using existing tools to present cost positions, EAC positions, and variance explanations against the budget, while leading proposal development.
