Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Norco - Norco, LA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, We are looking to add a Project Engineer to our team. This position offers flexibility to be based out of our St. James, LA or Norco, LA branch. Applicants should be highly motivated, hard-working individuals who hold safety as their number one priority.   Responsibilities Perform a job site visit to assess jobsite and review job scope with client. Utilize computer aided design software to draw the crane, matting, rigging, load, and jobsite. Determine the proper crane size, type and configuration. Determine the proper rigging size, type and capacity. Determine the necessary matting to achieve an allowable ground bearing pressure. Assemble lift plan packets with all required details and drawings. Review the lift plan with client and field personnel performing the work. Relay all relevant job costs and pricing considerations to the sales and/or operations team. Qualifications: Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Design Drafting, or other related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered as a substitute. Experience with software in Microsoft Office suite. 3 years of experience in planning for cranes and/or rigging preferred. Familiarity with working in refineries and chemical plants preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred, equivalent experience with other crane/rigging planning software acceptable.
