Job Details: Job Location: Port Orange 5254 - Port Orange, FL, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Category: Retail, SUMMARY Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Retail Associate stocks processed textile donations in their designated areas and categories on the sales floor. This role provides excellent customer service, maintains sales floor cleanliness, and replenishes merchandise promptly. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Organize and place textile merchandise in the correct categories, following established merchandising policies and procedures. Support textile color rotation in accordance with established procedures. Welcome each customer in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner and provide timely, efficient, and accurate service. Help customers locate the appropriate areas of the store and answer general questions. Remain attentive to potential shoplifting and report suspicious activity to store management. Maintain clean and safe sales floor and production areas. Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and follow dress code requirements, including wearing a name badge. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Promptly direct customer complaints to management. Answer incoming calls promptly and follow established telephone etiquette. Comply with Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines. Remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies. Complete other duties assigned by the Team Leader. Qualifications: The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability utilized while performing this job. 1. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have beginner knowledge of the Internet and the ability look up information. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Special Conditions of Employment (e.g. physical or environmental requirements, irregular work schedule, required license or certification, background check) 1. Regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. 2. Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 3. Standing and walking for long periods of time. 4. Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull. 5. Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and the ability to lean and remove garments from containers. 6.
