Job Details: Job Location: Portola Hotel and Spa - Monterey, CA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $16.90 - $16.90Hourly, Job Shift: Any, The ideal candidate must have at least one year of restaurant experience, open availability Sunday through Saturday, and the ability to work from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. A valid Food Handler Card certification is required.  JOB DESCRIPTION:    The Peter B’s Bussers are responsible for assisting the Food Server in serving guests. They must have good communication skills, the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight and be willing to work with urgency in a fast paced environment with continual customer contact. THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB ARE: •    Responsible for serving guests while complying with a sequence of customer service standards to positively impact the guests’ experience •    Ability to assume a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow staff members •    Responsible for maintaining work areas and equipment clean •    Responsible for clearing, wiping down and setting tables with dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments for the next guest •    Assists serving staff in delivering food orders to tables •    Responsible for refilling guest water glasses and coffee cups  •    Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas •    Complete food and beverage knowledge and be able to communicate in detail to guests •    Comply with the Company’s standards of conduct •    Assist bartenders with refilling ice bins, washing glassware, bussing dishes and replacing beverage products when scheduled as bar back   The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCED REQUIRED: Minimum 6-months of Food & Beverage experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
