Job Details: Job Location: FilTec Inc Corporation Office - Cavetown, MD, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $22.90 - $23.51Hourly, Job Shift: 1st Shift, Job Category: Production, Production team member to work in a process production environment operating and maintaining multiple machines at one time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but not limited to, the following: Check winding schedule. Communicate with off going shift as to special instructions or pertinent information. Bring material to the winding area if required. Make appropriate product labels. Verify in-coming material if needed. Wind, inspect and label product. Box product and seal cartons.  Label cartons, transfer to pallet to go to warehouse. Perform quality checks as per work instructions. Make appropriate machine adjustments as needed to wind quality product. Make machine adjustments to set up new product as needed. Clean machines and area. Put lube in winder as needed. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. Make boxes. Take out trash to trash dumpster. Fill out production report and internal waste report. Cut remaining scrap from spools, place scrap in waste container, put empty spool on pallet. Perform other functions as needed. Communicate with shift coming in at shift change. Attend meetings as scheduled. Assist others in the department as time permits. If no work is available in winding department, help in other departments. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum of high school education.  Some college or vocational training preferred but not necessary. Some computer and keyboard experience helpful. Mechanical experience preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Must be able to work in a group and be able to communicate effectively with a cross section of people. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS. Must be a detail-oriented individual. Must have positive attitude. Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks at once. Individual must be receptive to and able to handle change. Individual must be self-motivated, have strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Individual must have good math skills. Individual must be willing to work overtime if necessary.
