This position will receive purchase requests; issue request for quotes/proposals; evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other evaluation criteria; issue, administer and modify purchase orders; perform cost analyses and close out purchase orders; research available suppliers, set up and maintain file documentation to procurement standards and Government regulations. Required Experience: • Bachelors and 3 years related work experience in DoD purchasing or 7 years of direct DoD purchasing experience Required Skills: • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Working knowledge of the FAR. • Strong attention to detail. • Exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple efforts.
