Caregiver We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide exceptional support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll assist with daily activities while helping individuals maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. Hours: 8 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 12 am A part time position can lead up to full time. Please call to set up a phone interview between these hours and days: Mon thru Fri 9 am to 4:30 pm or you can email me with any questions: [email protected] 517-663-6036 Loving Hands Home Care Agency Benefits • Health Insurance • Dental, Vision Benefits Average 30 hours a week • 401K after 1 year or 1,000 hours Responsibilities • Provide personal hygiene assistance clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) • Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises • Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so • Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary Requirements: • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner • Prior experience in a healthcare, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year) • Willingness to enforce health and safety standard. • Must be comfortable driving clients van and transporting her in it. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day. • Hoyer experience or willing/capable of training. • Urinary Catheterization experience or knowledge or willing/capable training. • Non-Smoker • No long or acrylic nails We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
