Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time CPR Ready Patrol in Burlington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, and communicate clearly while responding to security-related needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 08:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 08:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 08:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 08:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel. • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. • Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to the appropriate supervisor or site contacts. Minimum Requirements: • CPR certification is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Be at least 21 years of age • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
