RN First Assistant (RNFA) in our Operating Room at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 8-hour Day shifts. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for assisting the primary surgeon pre, intra, and post operatively with organized instruction and supervised practice. Required Qualifications: • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a course in RN First Assisting. • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association • Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization • 3 years experience in peri-operative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.
