The Consultant will be a course director who teaches the Nuclear Pharmacy 1 and 2 courses within the College of Pharmacy. The Consultant will also assist the Nuclear Pharmacy Certificate Program offered online. • Designs of course materials. • Coordinates and delivers the course. • Performs student and course assessment. EDUCATION: PharmD. EXPERIENCE: Prior teaching or instructional experience. Prior teaching or instructional experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Knowledge of basic course direction. • Provide instruction in didactic, laboratory settings, or specialty rotations in accordance with curriculum and program standards. • Evaluate and assess student performance through evaluations and various assessments. • Guide and support students through mentoring. • Stay up to date with advances in nuclear pharmacy • Adhere to all institutional and programmatic policies including radiation safety and compliance. • Maintain current knowledge of best practices in nuclear pharmacy. • Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and effective communication. • Ability to plan and schedule tasks and projects to maintain control of workflow.
