This unique role offers the opportunity to float between acute care and inpatient rehab, providing comprehensive services across the continuum. This role is ideal for therapists who enjoy fast-paced environments, critical thinking and daily collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. • Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans and deliver skilled interventions for patients in medical-surgical, ICU, telemetry and specialty units • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on discharge planning to ensure safe and appropriate patient transitions • Document timely and accurately in the electronic medical record per hospital and regulatory standards • Completing patient/family education related to mobility, safe transfers and home exercise programs, as appropriate • Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives within our team Qualifications • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required. • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required. • Acute care experience, minimum one year required • Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills #BSWIR - Inpatient Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
