Position Details: • Job Title: Senior Analyst/ SME • Function/Department: Actuarial • Location: Bangalore, India • Employment Type: Full-time • Reports To: CBSI Head – EMEA Actuarial • Role Overview – Pricing for Europe A&H Key Responsibilities: • Be a key collaborator of the Europe A&H Actuarial Pricing team on essential pricing tasks, including individual case pricing, portfolio analysis and planning. • Develop and apply frequency-severity, burn cost and experience-rating methods to price A&H products such as personal accident, travel and supplemental health. • Mentor junior analysts and promote technical upskilling in modern analytics tools. • Actively attend all pricing meetings and address all queries raised by the pricing actuaries and business heads. • Utilize actuarial techniques and data analytics for analysis of experience. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, refining portfolio review process and improving efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: • Highly motivated, great teammate, able to deal with different professional backgrounds and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. • Undergraduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, etc. • Prior reserving experience (e.g., triangle methods, ultimate loss estimation, valuation or SAO work) is an advantage. • Pursuing actuarial exams or nearing qualification, or qualified with 6+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably in General Insurance Pricing, ideally A&H, Property or Specialty lines. • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in various software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Python, R, SQL, Qliksense/Qlikview) and actuarial tools. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines and work independently.
