Job Purpose Effectively capable of handling Support in Oracle PL/SQL / MS SQL Database technology. Duties and Responsibilities • Working experience on Application support. • Knowledge of Oracle PL/ SQL or MS SQL Server. • PL/SQL Procedure, T-SQL Development, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, SQL Server Agent Jobs creation & management • Manage end-to-end production support, including incident management, problem management, service requests, and user support within defined SLAs. • Analyze application issues, perform initial troubleshooting, and collaborate with application partners for root cause analysis and permanent fixes. • Monitor application health, database performance, interfaces, batch jobs, and system availability across Oracle and MS SQL environments. • Coordinate application releases, patches, upgrades, and change requests with business users, vendors, and internal technology teams. • Validate and oversee the implementation of fixes provided by application partners, ensuring minimal impact to business operations. • Execute SQL queries and perform data analysis, reconciliation, and data correction activities to support business and operational requirements. • Work closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and external partners to ensure stable and secure application operations. • Validate business requests and provide data clarifications through database analysis. • Would be responsible to prepare processes and best practices in day-to-day activities and implementing the same. • Knowledge of Shell Scripting will be having added advantage Key Decisions / Dimensions • Fast Decision making on Production Fix is expected. Major Challenges • Define and Manage SLAs for all Production Deployment Support Activities • Define and Meet Milestones for all Project Deliveries Required Qualifications and Experience a) Qualifications • Post Graduates with relevant Development / Support experience of 4-8 years (also graduates with experience of 6-10 years may apply) b) Work Experience • Relevant work experience of 4 to 6 Years. • Prior & relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an added advantage. • Demonstrated success & achievement orientation. • Excellent communication skills. • Strong bias for action & driving results in a high performance environment. • Excellent relationship skills. • Strong analytical skills • Exceptionally high motivational levels and needs to be a self-starter.
