For Finance leadership, we provide the market intelligence needed to drive Alphabet's strategic planning process and to make major capital allocation decisions with confidence. For the business partners, we inform product and go-to-market (GTM) strategy, strategic partnerships, and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) diligence through market landscape overviews, value chain analyses, opportunity sizing, and competitive benchmarking. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Build rigorous, bottom-up industry models using proprietary datasets and market data. • Own real-time competitor earnings coverage to distill strategic implications for Alphabet. Produce quarterly overviews and maintain market metrics benchmarking internal performance against broader industry trends. • Conduct primary research and expert interviews with industry participants, suppliers, and customers to identify market catalysts in real time and develop independent conclusions. • Serve as a subject-matter expert advising cross-functional executive teams (e.g., Google DeepMind, K&I, Cloud) on product, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and M&A diligence. • Translate technological, capacity, and pricing trends into key assumptions underpinning Alphabet's long-range P&L, CapEx, and cash flow forecasts as part of company strategic planning. Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences), or equivalent practical experience. • 3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, management consulting, product strategy, or corporate finance. • Experience analyzing, researching, or operating within the Artificial Intelligence, AI cloud infrastructure, or semiconductor markets.
