You will lead the engineering team responsible for driving user growth and scaling engagement across Search’s flagship AI features. You will also shape and build the Search Growth Platform: an intelligent platform that will autonomously optimize user lifecycles across Search. Responsibilities • Drive growth strategies and deliver on key product goals, including the adoption of new AI features, user engagement metrics, and subscription products. • Lead the design and delivery of the Search Growth Platform's next-generation AI engine to optimize the end-to-end user lifecycle. • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers while guiding their career development. • Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence to solve complex technical problems. • Build user-facing features and foundational infrastructure for user engagement with a focus on rapid experimentation. Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience. • 8 years of experience in software development. • 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Preferred qualifications: • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. • Experience driving technical initiatives from concept to launch, authoring design documents, and prioritizing roadmaps using a data-driven approach. • Experience partnering with Product, UX, and adjacent engineering teams to deliver shared goals.
