About the Role ACE Group is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing and procurement of goods and services for assigned ACE Group entities. Civil and construction procurement is not part of this role. All of this must follow company policies and approval procedures. You will look after a broad range of categories, including IT equipment, office supplies, maintenance, media equipment, and other goods and services. You will report to the Manager Procurement and work closely with requesters, Accounts and other departments so that goods arrive on time, invoices match accurately, and every purchase gives the Group good value. The role suits a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys negotiating, keeps meticulous records and takes compliance seriously. Responsibilities Vendor Sourcing & Management • Identify, evaluate and maintain approved vendors for IT equipment, office supplies, maintenance, media equipment, and other goods and services. • Handle vendor communication, negotiations, delivery follow-ups and invoice queries. • Document vendor evaluations, the reasons for each selection, and annual rate benchmarking. Competitive Bidding & Quotation Analysis • Obtain competitive quotations for approved requisitions, and request updated quotations whenever market prices change. • Prepare comparative statements, check that pricing is accurate, and make sure quotations cover the same scope and specifications. Purchase Order Processing & Compliance • Process requisitions and purchase orders through the HRMS, in line with procurement SOPs and policies. • Keep complete procurement records for each assigned entity, and process them on time in line with operational SLAs. Coordination & Reporting • Work with requesters, Accounts and relevant departments to support timely delivery and accurate invoice matching. • Support annual cross-entity vendor spend reporting for management and Finance. Requirements Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline. • Candidates with a degree or qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement will be given preference. • 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain operations. • Experience in vendor sourcing and evaluation, competitive bidding and quotation analysis. • Experience processing purchase orders, maintaining procurement documentation and reporting. • Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS or similar procurement systems. Soft Skills & Leadership • Negotiation: strong price negotiation and cost control skills. • Vendor relationship management: builds reliable, accountable supplier relationships. • Attention to detail: accurate in comparative statements, POs and records. • Compliance mindset: follows procurement policies, SOPs and approval procedures consistently. • Communication: good written and verbal communication in English and Urdu. • Coordination: works effectively with requesters, Accounts and other departments. • Time management: processes requests within agreed SLAs.
