Job Description We are hiring a Leasing Consultant to work onsite at our apartment community Preston Reserve in Cary, NC. As the first point of contact for prospective residents, you'll play a key role in driving leasing activity, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and contributing to the success of the community. Learn more about the community here: Preston Reserve Apartments What We Offer AIR offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to reward performance and support your success, including: • Base Pay of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour + Competitive Commissions. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job. • Multiple opportunities to increase commission per lease including: • Higher rent rate unit: Updated finishes, larger floorplan, better view, etc. • Exceeding monthly goal: Several tiers to increase percentage of total lease value earned per lease. • Longer lease term: 18-month or longer vs. the standard 12-month length. • 25% Rent Discount at any AIR community. • Option to live onsite with zero commute or at a nearby AIR community. • Possible Extended Time Off (depending on business need) to enjoy a Winter Break after peak season has ended. • You will keep all your benefits (including your 25% rent discount) during this unpaid break while you refresh and recharge during the holiday season. What You Will Do • Follow AIR's sales process, including prompt follow-up with prospective residents, scheduling and conducting tours, and effectively communicating the value of the community. • Consistently meet or exceed monthly leasing goals and performance expectations. • Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents while creating a positive leasing experience. • Provide leasing support to all communities within the AIR portfolio as needed. • Contribute to community marketing and outreach efforts. • Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and Regulations. What You Have • 1+ year of sales and customer service experience, including achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment (property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant experience preferred). • Demonstrated success meeting performance goals and following a structured sales process. • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and earn trust. • Flexible schedule with availability to work during office hours, including weekends as needed. • Reliable transportation. • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
