Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Position Purpose At Johnson Memorial Hospital the Unit Secretary is responsible for coordinating patient flow on the unit and provides clerical support to the unit. What you will do • Coordinate patient flow on the unit • Process patient orders • Prepares and disassembles patient charts • Prepares forms and documents required for patient care • Communicates unit related and/or patient related needs to other departments and healthcare team members • Request and obtain supplies and equipment • Answer phones and greeting visitors Minimum Qualifications • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
