This position is designed to provide coverage across multiple routes and drivers based on daily business needs. Route Assistants are not assigned to a specific route and may work with different drivers and routes from day to day. Schedule: Monday through Friday, beginning at 5:00 a.m. until route completion. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Support drivers with route navigation and deliveries. Help deliver, stock, rotate, and merchandise products at customer locations. Provide coverage on various routes as needed. This is a floating position, and route assignments may change daily based on staffing and workload requirements. Safely handle products weighing 35-50 lbs. regularly and up to 150 lbs. occasionally. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck, trailer, and pallet jacks. Act as a spotter when drivers are backing up vehicles to ensure safe operation and prevent accidents. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
