Position Summary: The Creeler is primarily responsible for creeling assigned yarns on correct knitting machines in an efficient and safe manner. Position Responsibilities: • Creeler will creel twelve (12) machines total. • Keep yarn from being damaged while transferring from yarn boxes to yarn pin trucks. • Stack yarn on yarn pin trucks only one layer above top row of pins. • Creelers are responsible for removing empty cones and breaking down yarn boxes. • Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions. • Keep work area neat and clean. • Perform other duties as assigned. Role Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience: • Associate must be able to read and verify yarns printed on knitting tickets with Knitter and Knitting Mechanic. • Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong team player. • Commitment to company values.
