Responsibilities • Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. • Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the nursing staff. • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following hygiene and infection control standards. • Support mobility and exercises as directed by nursing or therapy staff. • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. • Document care activities and observations accurately and promptly. • Follow care plans and adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Requirements • Valid STNA certification in the state of Ohio. • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed. • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of residents. • Ability to lift and assist residents as necessary.
