Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Make Ready/Maintenance Tech to join our team with Ambo Properties. This role is critical in preparing apartment homes for new residents, ensuring the property is clean, safe, and inviting. Key Responsibilities: • Apartment Turnover: Perform "make ready" tasks to prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks. • Property Maintenance: Assist with general property upkeep, including picking up trash, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal. • Cleaning & Maintenance Support: Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms. • Inspection Support: Assist with property inspections and ensure all areas are in compliance with safety standards. • Work Orders: Address minor maintenance work orders when necessary and report any major repairs to the maintenance team. • Resident Interaction: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward residents and guests while completing tasks efficiently and with care. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams to ensure the smooth operation of the property. Qualifications: • Previous experience in a Make Ready/Porter or similar role in property management or maintenance preferred. • Bilingual (Required) • Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, minor repairs). • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. • Drivers' License (Required) • Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Must be able to pass a criminal background/Drug screening (Required) • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform outdoor tasks as needed.
