This role blends hands-on patient interaction with technical expertise in cardiac testing. What You’ll Do: • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) across various hospital locations • Conduct cardiac stress tests following physician protocols • Ensure accurate electrode placement and artifact-free tracings • Maintain and document emergency equipment functionality • Prepare patients for testing and communicate any physical limitations • Operate EHR systems to enter and retrieve patient data • Collaborate with clinical teams and report equipment issues promptly • Support infection control and universal precautions consistently What We’re Looking For: • High school diploma or GED required • Prior EKG Technician experience preferred • Current BLS (CPR) certification required • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols • Knowledge of medical terminology a plus • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical & Mental Demands: This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), along with sustained attention to detail and clear communication.
