Key Responsibilities * Directs the activities of buyers and expediters to accomplish company objectives. * Responsible for the evaluation of vendor reliability; oversees the surveying of vendors to maintain adequate working relationship. * Reviews and approves purchases up to a specified dollar amount. * Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities. * Monitors the cost, schedule and performance aspects of major subcontracts. * Coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels. The role will be based either in Santa Clara, CA (3 days onsite) and Benicia, CA (2 days onsite) or in Benicia (5 days onsite). In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
