• Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and at least six years of progressively complex experience in project administration. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. • Experience reading, understanding, and analyzing technical products (e.g., drawings, CAD, specifications, design reviews, bills of material, data sheets) relating to components, end-items, complex systems, or software. • Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets. • Must possess: • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to investigate unfamiliar products, technologies, and regulatory requirements. • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • The ability to initiate, plan and manage projects effectively. • The ability to work independently and lead in a team environment. • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required. • Experience in engineering disciplines. • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high technology manufacturing. • Experience with regulatory controls. • Participation in the classification training and qualification program is a condition of employment. The program includes classroom instruction, mentoring, and independent study, followed by practical assessments and examinations. Successful completion is required for independent classification work. • Ongoing classification activity and refresher training are required to maintain proficiency.
