Job Description As a Security Officer Active Clearance Area Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.56 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMTue09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWed09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense location. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel and visitors as needed. • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, communicating observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: • Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance. • Experience with alarm panels is preferred. • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
