Your Impact • Perform structural engineering design and analyses for tunnels and underground structures under the supervision of senior engineers • Design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steelwork, tunnel linings • Underground subway station framing design and analysis • Field inspection of existing underground structures • Field inspection of construction • Assist in the preparation of drawings, studies and designs of underground projects • Assist task leaders in preparation of reports and Contract Documents Who You Are Required Qualifications • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering • 3-5 years of post-education experience in structural or tunnel engineering practice • Strong background in structural analysis, familiar with structural engineering software such as SAP2000, STAAD and spColumn • Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit • Good understanding and knowledge of structural engineering and related disciplines (structures, civil, geotechnical, and planning) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with other disciplines, managers, and other staff) • Ability and willingness to travel and perform field work Preferred Qualifications: • EIT preferred • M.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering • Internship(s) applying structural engineering skills WSP Benefits: WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $94,400 - $125,000 WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
