Schedule Part-Time: 10 Hours/Weekly, Weekends 7:00 am-7:30 pm with holiday/on call rotation as needed General Summary Performs a variety of duties to assist the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist/Surgical team with clinical procedures. Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment. Cleans equipment and rooms and restocks supplies and medications. Essential Functions: • Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment. • Cleans and stocks all operating rooms and supply carts with necessary anesthesia supplies and emergency drugs. • Cleans and sterilizes all equipment used in the administration of anesthesia. • Monitors departmental supply levels and orders supplies as necessary. Common Expectations: • Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. • Participates in educational programs and in-service/department meetings. • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. • Attends meetings as required. Qualifications Minimum Education: • High School Diploma or GED Required Work Experience: • 2 years Anesthesia Technician experience.
