Security Operations, Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Direct day-to-day security operations, monitoring, and alerting across the estate (SIEM/SOAR).
• Own the vulnerability management lifecycle – scanning, prioritization, patching, and remediation tracking.
• Monitor the threat landscape and drive proactive hardening across the estate.
• Maintain security controls, configurations, and baselines aligned to policy.
Incident Response, Compliance & Audit
• Own the security incident response process; direct triage, investigation, containment, and post-incident review.
• Maintain a secure environment aligned to ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, and SOC 2.
• Oversee user access reviews, access governance, and GDPR compliance of controls.

• Govern infrastructure and security vendor relationships, ensuring SLA adherence and value for money.
• Provide operational performance oversight of the Managed Security Service Provider, holding the MSSP accountable against agreed service levels.
