Position Summary: The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers. This role serves as a representative of the company during deliveries and requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The Driver ensures products are transported and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining positive customer interactions. Responsibilities • Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops, industrial facilities, and other customer locations. • Verify and load customer orders accurately based on invoices or packing slips. • Unload deliveries at customer sites, ensuring products are delivered in good condition. • Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery records as required. • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. • Assist in warehouse duties when needed (e.g., stocking, picking, packing). • Follow all DOT and company safety regulations and policies • Provide excellent service and represent Colours, Inc. in a professional and courteous manner. • Perform other duties within store as assigned during driver downtime. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus. • Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset. • Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently • Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful Key Competencies: • Demonstrates strong safety awareness and adheres to all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations. • Provides excellent customer service; courteous, professional, and responsive at all customer touchpoints. • Shows strong attention to detail when verifying orders, loading, and completing delivery paperwork. • Manages time efficiently and can adapt to changes in routes or delivery schedules. • Communicates clearly with warehouse staff, dispatch, and customers. • Works well in a team environment and is willing to assist in warehouse operations as needed. • Comfortable with basic technology tools, such as handheld devices, routing apps, and delivery logs. • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Maintains a clean driving record and always represents Colours, Inc. in a professional manner.
