Description RedefinED is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced accounting professional to keep our financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role working directly with our CFO. Prior accounting experience and proficiency in QuickBooks are required. What to expect A full-time position working primarily from home with occasional in-person attendance as needed. You’ll work closely with leadership and help build the financial processes that support our continued growth. We value positivity, resourcefulness, and ruthless accountability. What you’ll do • Prepare client invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances. • Review and process employee expense reports. • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks. • Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts. • Track vendor bills and coordinate approved payments. • Support month-end close, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and financial reporting. • Identify discrepancies, resolve problems, and improve processes as we grow. Requirements What we’re looking for • At least three years of relevant accounting experience. • Strong QuickBooks and Excel or Google Sheets skills. • Experience with invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and expense reporting. • Experience supporting budgets and financial reports. • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information. • Someone who works independently, meets deadlines, and takes ownership of their work.
