Job Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care/Nursing Home and Transitional Care unit regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our welcoming Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN Nursing schedule includes; • Casual / on call • Evening or overnight shift • Must work a minimum of three shifts per month, which includes two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per year Lake City Care Center is nestled near the picturesque Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota. Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org) • Provides professional nursing cares and treatments • Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff • Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status Required: • MN LPN licensure • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice • 0-1 years of experience • Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phones, and fax machines Preferred: • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree • 1-3 years of experience • MS Office, Excel, and Word • Point Click Care knowledge Benefit Overview Although this is considered a non-benefit eligible position, Ebenezer offers employees the option to participate in the Ebenezer 401(k) plan, earn Sick and Safe Time, and early access to earned wages.
