A fast-growing, tech-powered, people-first CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead engagements, mentor staff, and work directly with clients across a range of industries. This is a hybrid role with real client exposure, visibility with firm leadership, and clear paths to grow. Senior Auditor Benefits and Compensation: • Competitive salary: $80,000 to $100,000, based on experience • Hybrid schedule: In office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday, client sites as needed • Company-paid health insurance • Company-paid life insurance • 401(k) with 4% employer match • 15 days PTO plus paid holidays • CPA support and ongoing professional development • Clear opportunities for advancement and career growth Senior Auditor Requirements and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience • At least 2 years in public accounting • Experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Supervisory experience coaching and developing staff • Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills Senior Auditor Must Haves: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience with at least 2 in public accounting • Proven ability to lead engagements from planning through completion • Solid GAAP and financial reporting knowledge • Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers • Supervisory experience mentoring junior team members • Proficiency with audit software and Excel • Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Parsippany with client site work as needed Senior Auditor Preferred Background and Skills: • CPA license, or actively pursuing certification • Public accounting or CPA firm background • Experience across a variety of client industries • Familiarity with technology-driven audit solutions, including Thomson Reuters • Passion for coaching and developing staff • Client relationship and service orientation • Process improvement mindset, using technology to drive efficiencies • Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative JOB ID: 180792 #post Neil Lurvey
