We’re hiring an experienced Semi-Trailer Territory Sales Representative to develop new accounts and grow existing customer relationships throughout Wisconsin. This position requires hands-on sales experience with both dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers. Candidates must currently live in Wisconsin or the Chicago metropolitan area. You’ll focus on finding new fleet and transportation customers, understanding their equipment needs, and managing the sales process from the first conversation through delivery. Semi-Trailer Territory Sales Representative Benefits & Compensation: • Base salary plus uncapped commission • Tiered commission structure with increased earning potential as gross margin grows • Additional commission opportunities on rental and lease revenue • Medical insurance with PPO and HSA plan options • 401(k) with up to 4% company match • Employee wellness programs • Factory and trade show travel opportunities • Established operational and sales support • Opportunity to build and grow a Wisconsin territory Semi-Trailer Territory Sales Representative Requirements & Qualifications: • 2+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience • Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and develop an assigned territory • Experience selling to trucking companies, fleets, transportation companies, or logistics customers • Strong understanding of semi-trailer specifications and customer equipment needs • Experience preparing quotes, negotiating pricing, and closing profitable sales • Ability to independently manage prospecting, pipeline activity, customer follow-up, and account growth Must Haves: • Direct sales experience with BOTH dry van and refrigerated (reefer) semi-trailers • Must currently live in Wisconsin or the Chicago metropolitan area • Proven experience generating new business rather than solely managing existing accounts • Ability to recommend trailer specifications based on fleet and customer requirements • Experience managing equipment sales from prospecting through quote, negotiation, order, and delivery • Ability to coordinate trailer availability, specifications, financing, contracts, and delivery requirements with internal teams Semi-Trailer Territory Sales Representative Preferred Background & Skills: • New and used semi-trailer sales experience • Trailer rental and leasing experience • Established relationships with trucking companies, private fleets, transportation companies, or logistics organizations • Class 8 truck or commercial transportation equipment sales experience • Familiarity with dealership operations, title processing, financing, and equipment documentation • Salesforce or similar CRM experience • Strong territory planning, negotiation, pipeline management, and closing skills This position does not include relocation assistance. Candidates must currently live in Wisconsin or the Chicago metropolitan area and be able to effectively cover the Wisconsin sales territory. This is a direct-hire position.
