We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Events Manager to join a high-energy, upscale dining destination in the heart of downtown Chicago. Compensation & Benefits • Commission on events booked and executed • Growth opportunities within a respected hospitality group • Collaborative, guest-focused culture What You’ll Do • Manage the full lifecycle of private events from inquiry to execution • Drive sales through inbound leads, outbound outreach, and relationship building • Coordinate all event details including menus, layouts, timelines, and special requests • Partner closely with culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless execution • Serve as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after events • Conduct site tours and present event offerings with confidence and enthusiasm • Maximize revenue through strategic upselling and personalized guest experiences Events hosted are both intimate gatherings and large receptions up to 200+ guests for: • Corporate dinners and networking events • Rehearsal dinners and wedding celebrations • Holiday parties and milestone occasions • Social gatherings and private dining experiences What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of special events experience in an upscale or fine dining environment • Fluency in Tripleseat and OpenTable is required • Strong sales mindset with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Polished communication and client-facing presence • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced setting • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences JOB ID: 180552 #post Melissa Driza
