Internal Medicine – Northwestern Minnesota • Join another internist and 6 FP Physicians in a beautiful Lakefront community of 10,000. • Primarily an office-based practice in space connected to the hospital • Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post-discharge. • Anticipated weekly work schedule: 8-5, M-F plus call rotation; Back-up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA • Anticipated volume of office patients per day: 15-22/day • Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed M/S unit in the only Hospital in the County. • Average daily census of unit: ICU = 4; MSP = 15 REQUIREMENTS • BC/BE in Internal Medicine LOCATION • Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area • 1 hour from Fargo (international airport/shopping) and 3 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN • Population: 10,000 • Excellent school system and reasonable home costs • Abundant family outdoor recreational activities year-round • NHSC Loan Repayment Site Fellowship: Skill:
