Cardiac Anesthesiology – Maine • Adult cardiac only. Cases consist of CABG, aortic replacement, valve repairs/replacements; no transplant. • Adult cardiac cases are performed by a dedicated group of specialty-trained anesthesiologists. Cases are physician only. • Approximately 40% cardiac/60% non-cardiac case coverage • Cardiac call is 1:6 home pager call with infrequent call backs. Post-call day off.
