Pediatrics – Michigan’s UP Position Highlights • Full-time (1.0 FTE) • Schedule: • 40 hours/week • Minimum 32 patient-facing hours • Typical workday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Typically, a 4-day work week • Part-time opportunities available • Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day • Supported by a 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalist team Practice Details • Outpatient Pediatric practice • Support from pediatric subspecialties for complex cases • Collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on quality care • EMR: EPIC with remote access from home Team-Based Care Model The health system is a national leader in Team-Based Care, supporting providers through: • Office visit support to maximize efficiency • Between-visit care coordination to reduce administrative burden • Population health management, including access to: • Clinical pharmacists • Diabetic educators • Case managers • Behavioral health specialists This model helps improve outcomes while supporting work–life balance and provider satisfaction.
